Regulatory Information (Initial Disclosure)

Important information about who we are, the service we provide and how we are paid.

Who we are

Switch-Cars Limited (“we”, “us”) acts as a credit broker and not a lender.

Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). FRN: [Insert your FRN].

We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders and/or other credit brokers.

The service we provide

Our panel of lenders

We work with a limited panel of lenders/credit brokers. Details of lenders we most commonly use are available on request.

We are not tied to a single lender.

How we are paid (commission)

We may receive a commission for introducing you to a lender/broker. The amount or nature of this commission may vary by lender, product, or term.

You can ask us for the amount of commission we will receive for your transaction at any time before you enter into a credit agreement.

Costs and fees

We do not charge you a fee for our credit-broking services. You will be informed in writing if this changes.

Affordability & your responsibilities

It’s important that you consider whether you can afford the monthly repayments for the full duration of the agreement. Missed or late payments may affect your credit rating and could make future borrowing more difficult.

Vulnerable customers

If you need extra support due to personal circumstances, please tell us. We will make reasonable adjustments to help you engage with our services fairly.

Complaints & Ombudsman

If you are dissatisfied, please see our Complaints Procedure. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may be able to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Switch-Cars Limited is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chains. We support the aims of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and expect the same high standards from all of our suppliers, contractors, and finance partners.

Although our annual turnover is below the statutory threshold requiring a formal statement under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we operate ethically and review our supplier relationships regularly to ensure compliance with UK legislation and best-practice standards.
